Silverstone F1 Weekender

The following things were learnt on this July weekend in Silverstone:
1) People who follow motorsports love to wear caps
2) I can still drink, it’s true! I’ve been a self-confessed lightweight since 2012 (motherhood established) but for some reason entirely unknown to me, I managed two straight days of drinking
3) The approach to middle age and all the trappings of my sheltered parenthood lifestyle has meant that there is no queue too long to put me off getting a real barrister coffee but I am still very capable of enjoying beer in plastic cups
4) I love dancing, literally nothing makes me happier
5) It’s Hammer-time

Here’s the picture highlights! Best to imagine this as some kind of circuit street photography because I did not trust myself with a big zoom lens and all day drinking…
