Haughley Park, Suffolk wedding by wedding photographer Charlie Alexander from Farlie Photography.
We could not of asked for a worse forecast for Alice and Tom’s big day. The day before I do my standard weather check across the weather apps and for once they all agreed; it would be raining and thunder-storming all the live long day. I’m talking the double rain drop icon with a black cloud and lightening bolt. On the hour every hour for the entire day! WHAAAAAT?! This is not what couple plan summer weddings for! So I’m planning umbrella shots, revisiting the venue in my mind and planning sheltered and inside shots, making lists so I don’t have a creative freeze up on the day and generally feeling a little disappointed for them. Oh well, I’ll make it work and imagine how cosy and festive those barns will feel inside if the thunder is booming outside!
Well how wonderfully inaccurate the forecasts can be! So a gloriously gorgeous day was had in sunny Suffolk in the grounds of Haughley Park Barns! And here are Alice and Tom being the most brilliant of Bride and Grooms…
What a magical day and what a fabulous pair who deserved it so much! Congratulations and thanks again and again for having me guys!
