Milnes’ Marital Milling

When I first met Laura and Alex, Laura tells me she wants to walk with her entire wedding party from the church to the reception. They don’t want to hang back at the church for some portraits (which is pretty usual) she wants to take this walk with her guests. I don’t get it but I smile, nod because I always appreciate a bride with a good idea about what she wants, especially when it’s one I haven’t heard of before! Fast forward to wedding day and we’re taking that walk and it’s one of my most memorable moments of my 2019 weddings! What a way to enter your reception but en masse, walking, laughing, trailing confetti and smiles the whole damn way. And it wasn’t the only thing that was totally fabulous about the day either, here’s my own favourite moments…
