Week 2 Lockdown…

Week 2. Rumours on the social-media-sphere were that this would be a tough one. They were right. The novelty of week 1 was gone. Whatever jittery fear-based adrenaline that was powering me through week 1 has ebbed. The children miss their friends and are much less tolerant of each other. Basically everything is a bit harder and when the balance is already so fine and emotions so high, those tipping points come fast, often and crash hard.

But here we are. Trying our best. Eating, reading, sitting, working, walking, homeschooling, Lego-ing, painting, exercising, karaoke-ing, hair-cutting, FaceTiming, baking, drawing, YouTube-ing, sewing and TV-ing our way deeper in to the lockdown…
