This is the wedding of Camille & Fred. Who in spite of it all or perhaps because of it all, pulled together this most beautiful and elegant of wedding days at Pembroke Lodge, London in the gorgeous glowy early Autumnal English sun. They flew their core celebration crew in from all over the globe. With both sets of parents committing to weeks of quarantine UK side and thereafter. They jumped through every hoop that COVID threw before them with grace and a solid commitment from the start to come together and make official their love regardless.
Their reward? Taking their vows with staggering views over London’s skyline from Pembroke Lodge’s heavenly verandas. Strolling through Henry VIII’s gardens for pictures. Sipping champagne with their nearest and dearest in the sun. Clinking glasses, throwing “elbow fives” and all of us smiling till our faces hurt. Because when is love and a beautiful day more celebrated than in a time when we’re forced to remind ourselves that really that’s all that matters.
So if you can put climbing a mountain or learning 5 languages on your CV then this savvy pair should absolutely put “got married in 2020” on theirs. Because if they did then I am formally recommending them for promotion to the position of CEO of Micro Wedding Wonderfulness.
Here they are… All love. Check out some of my favourite highlights…
